What is the difference between this power supply and the non advanced IIc power adapter? I just picked up a IIc which unfortunately did not have a power supply with it and I’m not savvy enough to build my own, but nervous to purchase the wrong adapter. Thanks in advance for answering this question!

Great question. This adapter is universal for the regions, ie can be used in any country with the proper power cable between the power adapter and the wall. Also, it is a higher amperage which helps if you modded your IIc where it may draw more power than originally designed for. The other adapter, while we offer different regions, each one is different and needs to be purchased separately.

The title says it all. So far so good on my Laser 128EX Apple II clone. I wasn’t sure what to do when the guy I bought it from lost the original power supply. This seems to be an exact fit for the Vtech version. The connector fits perfectly and supplies the exact power requirements for the Laser. Thank you 8-bit classics for making this available.
