It is a male 4-pin connector on the cable.
Great question. This adapter is universal for the regions, ie can be used in any country with the proper power cable between the power adapter and the wall. Also, it is a higher amperage which helps if you modded your IIc where it may draw more power than originally designed for. The other adapter, while we offer different regions, each one is different and needs to be purchased separately.
Yes, the Trooper controller is compatible with the Commodore VIC-20, Commodore 64, Atari 8-Bit Computers (400, 800, 1200XL, 600XL, 800XL, 65XE, 130XE, & XEGS), Atari ST (Port 1), and Amiga consoles.
Thanks for the pic! Always love to see other people’s setups. It was a great version of Frogger as well.
It really depends on what is compatible with EPROM programmer. You would want to look at that and what may be compatible. Here is a link to eBay though for a general search.

Yes, if you are burning your own EPROMS, you will need to purchase the appropriate EPROM from a vendor. I would recommend eBay and search “EPROM 2732” for 4K EPROMs. You would also need an EPROM programmer. The GQ PRG-055 GQ-4X V4 is a good model and not expensive. It is also available on eBay.
The adapter works for PAL (50 Hz) and NTSC (60 Hz). It is composite only so not S-Video compatible.
Based on the pictures I have seen of the standard Famicom, it does not. This connector started with the SNES/Super Famicom generation.
The cable itself displays PAL as it states in the description. I don’t know if it converts Hz so the question would be more does your TV/Display support your GameCube. PAL displays at 50Hz while NTSC is 60Hz.
Glad you like it. I have tested it myself with great results. It is a lot cheaper than other mods and cables I have seen available for these systems.
