Have an Atari XL/XE computer that supports S-Video but only a Commodore 1702 monitor (or other monitors with separate RCA Chroma/Luma connectors)? This cable will do just that by allowing you to connect your Atari 800, 800XL*, 65XE, and 130XE to the Commodore 1702 Monitor. The cable includes the Chroma, Luma, and mono audio connector.
- Over 5 Feet in length
Compatibility
- Commodore 1702 Monitor
- Commodore 1701 Monitor
- Commodore 1802 Monitor
- Commodore 2080 Monitor
- Commodore 1084S-P, 1084S-D1, 1084D Monitors
- Commodore CM-141 Monitor
- Other monitors that have separate RCA for Chroma/Luma
NOTE: In earlier versions of the Atari 800XL, Atari didn't include the Chroma or Luminance connections. So in versions produced before August of 1984, this cable will not work. This can also be checked with the version of Atari BASIC (This would be listed as Rev C but not all Rev C versions support S-Video). Please also note that even though the 1200XL has the 5-Pin DIN connector, it is also lacking the proper Chroma and Luminance connections. Please confirm that your 800XL is compatible beforehand otherwise composite video can still be used.
