The simple way to hook up my Commodore 1702 crt monitor

I ordered this for my new 1702 for my C=64 and it came lightning quick. Just opened the package, plugged it in and instant retro computing. (The one from ebay wasn’t what I needed) and 8 bit classics came to the rescue. I would definitely purchase from them again for any cable or other retro computing needs. Thank you 8 bit classics…!!! : )

    Question

    Spencer Kessler (verified owner)

Will this cable also work with monitors with composite RCA and not just Commodore monitors or will I have to use the other 8 pin cable with the S-Video? Thanks.

This cable will only work those monitors listed. It is literally an S-Video output in RCA connector format. What you would do is purchase a cable like the following to make the Commodore monitor usable for any S-Video compatible system and then purchase the Commodore S-Video Cable that will work with the 1702 or almost any TV/Monitor that supports those outputs.

Thank you for the comments. As for shipping, we charge actual rates given to us by our shippers (USPS & UPS). If I could find alternatives at a more discounted rate, I would.
