Food Chain for the Atari 2600 throws you into the brutal struggle of nature, where every move could be your last. You are a hungry frog fighting to survive across dangerous ecosystems filled with twisting paths, deadly obstacles, and one relentless predator stalking you from above.

Catch flies to build your score and advance through a constantly changing world of swamps, forests, mangroves, and haunted landscapes. Every 10 flies unlocks a new biome, each with its own layout, colors, and hazards. From the peaceful waters of the Lake to the terrifying depths of Skull Swamp and the mysterious Ghost Manor, survival becomes more intense with every stage.

But you are never alone.

High above, the Hawk circles endlessly, tracking your every move. Use walls, plants, and terrain to block its attacks, zigzag through tight passages, and stay alert for the sound of its wings as it swoops in for the kill. In Food Chain, hesitation means death.

Food Chain features a full 12-stage gameplay cycle that grows increasingly difficult as you survive longer, delivering fast arcade action with strategic movement and environmental interaction. During gameplay you can even manipulate parts of the environment by using directional controls with the action button, opening new paths or creating desperate escape routes.
